ABOUT PROJECT
“Old Lutsk” is a professional basketball team based in Lutsk, Ukraine. The team’s name, meaning “Old Lutsk,” pays homage to the city’s rich history while embodying its modern sporting ambitions. Dedicated to nurturing local talent and fostering community pride, the team represents the resilience and passion of the region.
Task
The goal was to refresh the team’s identity by creating a bold, dynamic, and historically rooted logo that strengthens the connection between the team and the city’s legacy. The redesign needed to capture the spirit of basketball while preserving the historical essence of Lutsk.

SOLUTIONS search
To bridge the past and present, we integrated elements reflecting both Lutsk’s heritage and the energy of the sport. The iconic Lubart Castle — a key symbol of the city — was stylized and merged with basketball-inspired motifs, reinforcing the team's deep-rooted identity while maintaining a modern and aggressive aesthetic.
